Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Service Description

TrueNote is an AI-based music authenticity analysis service operated by Advice That SRL, a Belgian company (enterprise number BE 0728534930), headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. TrueNote analyses audio files to estimate the probability that a track was created by a human rather than generated by artificial intelligence.

By using TrueNote, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Limitations of AI Analysis

AI-based analysis is probabilistic by nature. TrueNote's analysis results, including any "Certified Human Origin" designation, indicate a high probability of human origin — they do not constitute an absolute guarantee.

TrueNote certifies the results of its analysis process. It does not certify intellectual property ownership, copyright, or any other legal right over the analysed track. It is the user's responsibility to ensure they have the right to submit a track for analysis.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on TrueNote include Belgian VAT at 21%. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorise Stripe to charge the stated amount to your chosen payment method.

Subscription plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Analysis quotas are allocated monthly and reset on the billing anniversary date. Unused quota does not carry over to the following month and is non-cumulative.

4. Refund Policy

TrueNote delivers digital content immediately upon payment. In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has been delivered, where the consumer has given prior consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is thereby waived. By confirming a purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and waive your right of withdrawal.

Disagreement with an analysis result does not constitute a product defect and does not entitle the user to a refund. If you believe you have encountered a genuine technical defect (e.g., analysis failed to complete, certificate not generated), please contact us.

5. Certificates

Each track is entitled to one certificate of analysis. The system does not automatically generate duplicate certificates for the same track. If you need a replacement certificate (e.g., due to a technical issue), please contact us.

A certificate may be revoked if the ownership declaration submitted at the time of analysis is found to be fraudulent or if the submitter did not have the right to submit the track for analysis.

6. Dispute Resolution

Users may submit disputes via the in-app dispute form. The following dispute types are accepted:

All disputes are reviewed within 15 business days. For formal complaints, contact us.

7. Limitation of Liability

Advice That SRL's liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the service in question. TrueNote is not liable for any decisions made by third parties (labels, platforms, distributors, or others) based on TrueNote analysis results, certificates, or reports.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

For any questions regarding these Terms, contact us.
